KB Hi Tyler, thanks for meeting with me. So tell me about Tyler Walton and Blake Jensen – what are your backgrounds? TW Financial Services and Healthcare. Prior to launching NexTrust I spent 13 years with Fidelity Investments in various sales, marketing, and client service individual and executive roles. Blake spent 18 years in information systems roles with leading Healthcare companies including Intermountain Healthcare and most recently as CIO with Fletcher Allen. We benefit from our collective experience. KB How did you guys get started in the eStatement Business? TW With ePayments. Yes, our first model focused on enabling Small Businesses to improve efficiencies through patient payment automation tools. Yet, while building our ePayment business we were surprised to learn how many practices still generated their patient statements in-house. Sensing a need to walk before they can run we shifted our focus toward helping practices solve this more pressing business problem by creating a breakthrough outsourcing patient statement service. KB So tell me about the services you offer. TW We are an eStatement focused company. Outsourcing is based on the premise of obtaining specialization and economies of scale. It’s hard to be good at everything. Our industry Best Total Value eStatement service is achieved through specialization and disciplined focus. Over 10,000,000 statements a month are printed and mailed through our regional processing centers in Richmond VA, Atlanta GA, and Phoenix AZ. By specializing we have been able to achieve a 100% mailing accuracy during the past 4 years. That is, we have not mis-mailed a single statement during this time period. KB That's amazing, not a single error. Okay, what are, in your opinion, the biggest benefits to using NexTrust? TW Every good outsource vendor will save practices time and money. 4-5 hour monthly office jobs become 4-5 minute jobs with reduced errors, better quality statements, and less cost. NexTrust goes well beyond just doing the basic statements well for less money. We offer the most advanced statement design in the industry. It provides resellers with amazing customization control of the content. The design includes 3 levels of custom messaging to take advantage of the most widely read communication medium between the practice and patient. Let me share a couple examples with you: eVIEW enables Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to see the exact eStatements online which were mailed and received by their patients. This ability to for the CSR and patient to be literally “on the same page” enables CSRs to more efficiently and accurately understand and resolve patient billing inquiries. The CSRs love it because they can do a better job of satisfying patient requests. Another popular, unique advantage to working with NexTrust is gaining access to FASTforward, an institutional patient address update solution licensed by the US Postal Service. FASTforward economically updates known address changes prior to printing for on-time first-time delivery and then reports the change back to the practice so they can update their patient’s address. KB As a reseller, why would I want to do business with NexTrust? TW Two reasons. 1st - We built our distribution model based on the requests of leading resellers to meet their needs. Resellers can add significant recurring revenue to the bottom line while saving their client practices time and money and giving them a better quality product than they have ever had.
